Did you know that there are different types of crosswalks? There are standard or “open” crosswalks and zebra or “ladder” crosswalks. School zones in Utah have zebra/ladder crosswalks. A driver must wait for pedestrians to cross the ENTIRE crosswalk before proceeding through the intersection. As our students start school this week, please put away your cell phone, slow down, pay attention, and help keep our students and crossing guards safe!
IMPORTANT REMINDER: As the new school year begins, please be aware that there will be a lot of additional traffic around our school properties, especially during drop-off and pick-up times. This will be particularly noticeable during the first few weeks of school as we welcome students and as families settle into routines. Please be extremely patient, and remember to put the safety of all students first.
